Latha mòr gaothach aig Siabost ach bha e grianach bho àm gu h-àm is bha deagh chluiche ri fhaicinn. Feumaidh tu cuimhneachadh gun robh sinn an aghaidh fior dheagh sgioba ‘s iad làn de dh’eòlas air cupannan a bhuannachadh. Mille taing dhan Bhaile Ùr airson tighinn a-nall Chì sinn a-rithist sibh.

Good day for shinty in Lewis, better for Mr Callum Stewart who nabbed a double hat-trick as Newtonmore beat na Leòdhasaich 7-0. His brother Neil got the final goal of the afternoon.

Apart from the goals, and the struggle against the constant strong wind in the first half in particular, we showed up well and hopefully we can take many of the positives in terms of hitting, tackling and general attitude forward into the new season then we can make some good progress this year.

Thanks to the Gob for reffing and thanks to all who helped contribute to a great day, especially those who bought a raffle ticket and also Scramble, Balla and Tonkin for the coaching at the Primary School.
