THE WEST IS AWAKE!!
I am pleased to inform you that Lewis Camanachd’s entry into Marine Harvest North League Division 3 was confirmed at the meeting of the Camanachd Association Board of Directors in Fort William last night.
As discussed, given the challenges involved, entry is for the 2011 playing season and operation of both North Division 3 and the North Development League will be reviewed at the end of the year.
Directors recognise the enthusiasm and stated commitment of the Club to making this a success, also the good progress being made in the development of shinty in Lewis and the likely positive impact of Home league fixtures being played on the island.
We wish the Club every success for the season ahead.
