We would like to pass on the club’s best wishes to Paul, Marie and Seumas on the addition of Camanachd Leòdhais’ newest member, Angus Neil Duke, who was born last week. This joyous news is tempered however by the sudden passing of Marie’s father, John Angus MacKay, an Uigeach who made his home in Sleat, Isle of Skye, and was interred on Saturday 1 December. The whole club extends our sympathy to Marie and her family at this difficult time.
Training continues every Saturday, with a fitness run starting from Stornoway Golf Club at 12.30 before indoor training 2-3 in the ISL. Numbers have been holding up well but please encourage new (and old) faces to come along as much as possible. A midweek fitness session will be arranged soon.
The annual dinner dance and awards ceremony is scheduled for Saturday 22nd December in the Lodge. More to follow.
