Youth Skills Hierarchy – Rangachd Sgilean na h-Oigridh
Camanachd Leòdhais Youth Players will work on the full range of skills from the minute they begin playing the sport, they will continue to do so as long as they are players for the club. The basics are essential to any successful shinty player and should be practised every day if possible.
However, the following are just guidelines of when we would expect players to have mastered the relevant skills. Some players develop at different rates from others, some quicker, some slower. The ultimate goals are enjoyment and comfort in playing shinty.
