Lochcarron 3 – 0 Lewis

Unlucky to go down 3-0 to Lochcarron in Wester Ross last weekend, the main difference was Gregor Cushnie and a couple of the other old warhorses from Lochcarron’s early 2000s glory days – still Gaga gave as good as he got and as Tyson missed a penalty at 2-0, we could have come right back at them.  An epic trip for the Glasgow boys which invovled going back via the Balavil!

Best of luck to Crawford MacLellan who is playing for the British Armed Forces’ Scots Camanachd against the Irish Defence Force in the first ever shinty-hurling international between the two nation’s armed forces.  It takes place at the Bught Park on Saturday 28th April and throws up at 5.30pm. A great honour for Crawford and for the club. Proceeds to PoppyScotland so head along if you are in Inverness. Click on the link to downlaod a video from BFBS previewing the game. Our next game in North Division Three is on May 5th against Boleskine at Smith Park, Inverarnie – probably the usual early throw-up time. Boleskine turned us over twice last year so let’s put up a better fight this time.

Still plenty of merchandise to be ordered and training continuing on Tuesday and Thursdays, as well as training in Glasgow.
