A good pre-season workout against Skye Camanachd for the John “Kaid” MacLean Cup – you can catch up on the Cuillin FM Broadcast above.

A thousand thanks to Skye Camanachd for the invite to compete for such a prestigious and beautiful trophy which also helped mark 100 years since the Battle of the Somme.

Another trophy played for was the Cuach a’ Chairdeas which was played for between the Blones and Skye Camanachd Ladies. This trophy was dedicated to Joy Robson, who passed away in a tragic accident in 2013. Joy was a great volunteer and helper of sport in Skye.  Skye won the trophy 14-1 and it was presented by Joy’s children, Jo and Jack. Poppy scored our goal. Thanks to Skye Ladies for the invite and their support as always.
